Borland appoints Michael King to lead Asia Pacific business
Asia Pacific, Singapore - nov 13, 2006 : Borland Software Corporation (NASDAQ: BORL, www.borland.com), the global leader for Software Delivery Optimization (SDO), today announced the appointment of Michael King as vice president for Asia Pacific.
With more than 10 years of senior management experience in the region, King brings extensive expertise in marketing, sales and finance to the helm of Borland Asia Pacific.

King was previously vice president of sales at Borland Japan and was responsible for overseeing the company's sales activities, driving revenue growth and managing key business relationships. He has held several other roles in Borland including managing director of ASEAN and director of Strategic Alliances for Asia Pacific operations.
Before joining Borland, King was at Sterling Commerce where he held several key management positions in the Asia Pacific. He began his career at the IT analyst firm Gartner Group after graduating with a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration from the Ohio State University.
