CEO Letter to Customers

It’s now been one year since I first took the helm at Borland, committing myself and this company to shaping the next generation of software delivery and to serving you, our customers.

Over the past year we’ve undergone a significant amount of change to position Borland as a global leader in the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) market, and to further our vision of transforming software delivery into a more manageable, efficient and predictable business process.

We are making great strides in delivering a world class ALM portfolio to all of you. Earlier this year we acquired Segue Software. Our new Silk products now fill a central role in our recently announced solution for Lifecycle Quality Management (LQM), one of four new comprehensive solutions Borland delivers to help companies master the most critical processes within the application lifecycle. Earlier this month we announced that we would form a separate, wholly-owned subsidiary for the Developer Tools Group called CodeGear, which will be solely responsible for advancing our award-winning IDE product lines...
