Borland® Gauntlet® is a continuous integration and test automation system that improves visibility and speeds delivery of quality software by proactively building and testing code, identifying defects early, and reporting on key development metrics. It works transparently with existing version control systems to analyze and measure development activity continuously, collecting and consolidating fine-grained results into an embedded datamart for better analytics.
The Borland Gauntlet dashboard provides visibility and context for the entire development organization, with both real-time snapshots and historical trends of metrics, such as build performance, test results, code coverage, and project activity. Gauntlet also offers an open plug-in interface for custom and third-party tests, enabling users to automate and correlate results for anything from simple source code analyzers like FindBugs or CheckStyle, to complex security-vulnerability detection or license compliance enforcement solutions.
